The dog who made it all happen in Canada!
KUSA, BTRA, AKC registered and now CKC MCN listed, GiGi came to us from South Africa, and is the reason the Biewer Terrier breed is eligible for full
Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) acceptance in Canada!
To get a breed accepted in Canada with either Agriculture Canada or The Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) you have to follow strict policies and procedures. One of the policies is that in order to apply for a new breed to be placed on the CKC Miscellaneous List, the applicant must own a dog who is registered with a CKC-recognized kennel club that has already fully accepted the breed. GiGi checked that box because she was registered with the Kennel Union of South Africa (KUSA), and the KUSA has an existing agreement with the CKC. This is how GiGi is Canada’s foundation for the Biewer Terrier!
AKC, BTRA registered Tux came to us from the Ukraine. He was our very fist male Biewer Terrier and did some basic training in obedience and agility. Tux completed his first agility trial in the summer of 2019 and walked away with his first agility title in two weekends. He is a loyal and committed companion always showing off how smart he is by bringing a toy to play fetch with. He is a fast dog who likes to get his zoomies out any chance he gets, this boy is so fun and always up for anything!
VeeVee's Roll of the Dice
AKC Registered & CKC Listed, Dice was our first home bred Biewer Terrier. She is a delightful young girl who has the drive and willingness to please like her sire, Tux. Much like her sire her fetch obsession is unmatched. Dice AKA Flash is always ready for a game of fetch, and she will "find it" and brings it back as fast as fast can be!
When Dice isn't trying to get you to play with her she can be found in one of two places, on the floor next to your feet or on the couch right beside you. She's a very smart girl who loves her mama.

Exquisite luxury of VeeVee
AKC Registered & CKC Listed, Bentley came to us from a friend in Ontario. He was our show hopeful/pick puppy to grow up and show in conformation when the breed got accepted on the Canadian Kennel Club's Miscellaneous List.
Bentley was the very first male Biewer Terrier CKC Champion, first CKC Grand Champion and first Grand Champion Bronze. He is also a dual Champion winning in both Canada and the United States!
He is the most gentle and sweet boy who loves to be cuddled. He has done so much for the breed in Canada over the past few years and fully deserves his retirement as a very much loved couch potato!

AKC Registered & CKC Listed, Luna came to us from the Ukraine and made herself at home in no time at all! Luna is a very sweet girl who loves everyone she meets. She is very affectionate and loves to give kisses. She's a beautiful young girl who is determine to make you love her.
Luna was shown the first year the breed was eligible to show with the CKC in Canada. 3 months & 3 shows later Luna achieved the honour of being the
FIRST EVER CKC Biewer Terrier Champion!
She then went on to gain these additional
Canadian Kennel Club, Biewer Terrier first's:

- First Group Placing Winner
- First Toy Specialty Winner

AKC Registered & CKC Listed, Harley came to us from a friend in the United States. He is the perfect combination of sweetness and playfulness. He loves people and is the most happy being wherever you are.
Harley was our 3rd CKC Champion in 2023, and we couldn't be more proud of his achivements. We are extremely lucky to have this incredible boy!
ABOUT
VeeVee Biewer Terriers is a small home based dog fancier of purebred Biewer Terrier dogs. We value the preservation of purebred dogs, and only breed
Biewer Terrier to Biewer Terrier.
All of our Biewer Terriers are from German heritage, and have been health and DNA tested to be proven healthy purebred dogs.
Vanessa of "VeeVee" (CKC Perm. Reg'd Kennel) is the founder and an active member of the non-profit dog breed club, The Biewer Terrier Club of Canada, Inc. (BTCC). This club is the CKC National Breed Club for the Biewer Terrier in Canada. Their focus is on bringing awareness of the beautiful Biewer Terrier to Canada.
Vanessa is active in the dog show world and is a long standing member in good standing with the:
- Canadian Kennel Club (CKC)
- Biewer Terrier Club of America, Inc. (BTCA)
- Biewer Terrier Club of Canada, Inc. (BTCC)
all her dogs are registered with the
American Kennel Club (AKC), in addition to The Biewer Terrier Registry of America (BTRA) & listed with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC).
